Heart2Heart Equine is a small single owner/operator start up business that is 100% pro-horse and is all about the care, comfort of, and communication with the horse.
Heart2Heart Equine Services is just me - Karyl Verdon (at left with 3 day old C.J. Weyakin and mom Jazzlyn at a local boarding stable), an animal lover since the day I was born with an extra special place in my heart for the horse.
The horse has played a major role in our human history and have served as workers for hundreds of years since becoming domesticated, despite some horrible things that have been done to them.
These majestic animals have served us well and deserve to be treated as individuals with personalities, aches and pains, and wants and needs of their own - not just as beasts of burden to be sent to a kill lot once the horse was no longer productive, wanted or needed.
There are many schools of thought regarding "the right way to train/own" a horse. Heart2Heart is all about communication (mental, heart linked, verbal and physical) with the horse based on understanding how the horse thinks and reacts, mutual respect, and love.
Heart2Heart is all about helping:
- horse owners make their horses feel good,
- to educate people about the therapeutic benefits our equine friends provide,
- you locate rescue or hippotherapy resources in the state of Colorado.
I am a member of the Foundation Friendship Training (FT) clan and recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn and develop a true bond with their horse.
I am a Reiki Master and an Ordained minister and an Information Technology systems/applications administrator and applications specialist in my other '40 hour a week' life.
I am committed to making a positive difference in the way we humans view and treat the horse in our society.
I am 100% pro horse and have a unique way of looking at the horse/human relationship based on my life experience with all horses Moose, Zena, Jazzlyn, CJ Weyakin, Reina and Domino (all rescues) and the many other horses I have known/cared for/rode as a youth.
